Taskera Platform Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Taskera. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Taskera platform (the “Platform”), including any content, functionality, and services offered on or through taskera.io.
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
1.1 Agreement: These Terms form a binding legal agreement between you and Taskera (operated by [Your Company Name], located at [Your Address]) (“Taskera”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
1.2 Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old or the age of majority in your jurisdiction to use the Platform. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet this requirement.

2. User Roles and Separate Terms
2.1 The Platform serves two user types with distinct roles:
Users/Talent (students, jobseekers, career-switchers): Access User Terms below
Companies (project posters): Access Company Terms below
2.2 By selecting your account type during registration, you agree to the corresponding terms applicable to your role.
3. Platform Services
3.1 Core Services:
– Project marketplace connecting Users with Company projects
– Training resources and materials for project completion
– Project workspaces for collaboration and submission
– Certificate issuance upon project completion
– Portfolio generation showcasing completed projects
3.2 Availability: Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access.
4. Accounts and Security
4.1 Registration: You must create an account with accurate information. You are responsible for maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials.
4.2 Security: You must not share your account or allow unauthorized access. Notify us immediately of any breach.
4.3 Termination: We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms.
5. Payments and Fees
5.1 Fees (if applicable) are specified during registration or project posting.
5.2 All payments are final and non-refundable except as required by law.
5.3 You are responsible for all taxes associated with Platform use.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Platform Content: All Platform content (text, graphics, software) is owned by Taskera or licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license for personal use only.
6.2 User Content: You retain ownership of content you submit but grant Taskera a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and promote it on the Platform.
7. Termination
7.1 You may stop using the Platform at any time.
7.2 We may terminate or suspend access immediately for violations or at our discretion.
8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
8.1 No Warranty: Services are provided “AS IS.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied.
8.2 Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Taskera is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
8.3 User Interactions: We are not responsible for User-Company interactions or project outcomes.
9. Governing Law and Disputes
9.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country/Region].
9.2 Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in [Your Jurisdiction] courts.

USER TERMS AND CONDITIONS (Talent/Users)
These terms apply specifically to Users (students, jobseekers, career-switchers) using the Platform.
USER-SPECIFIC TERMS
11. Project Participation (Users Only)
11.1 Application Process: You may apply to Company projects. Acceptance is at Company’s discretion.
11.2 Project Commitment: Accepted projects require diligent effort and timely submission per Company guidelines.
11.3 Training Resources: You may access provided training materials solely for project completion.
12. Automatic NDA for All Projects (Users Only)
12.1 NDA Agreement: By accepting any project, you automatically enter a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) covering:
– All Company-provided information, materials, data, strategies, and project details
– Any work produced during the project
– Business processes, client information, or internal operations observed
12.2 Confidentiality Obligations:
– Do not disclose confidential information to third parties
– Do not use confidential information except for project completion
. Project details remain confidential even after completion unless Company approves portfolio use
12.3 Duration: NDA obligations survive project completion indefinitely or as specified by Company.
12.4 Breach Consequences: NDA violations may result in account termination, certificate revocation, and legal action.
13. Certificates and Portfolio
13.1 Issuance: Certificates are issued only upon approval of deliverables.
13.2 Revocation: Certificates may be revoked for NDA breaches or quality issues.
13.3 Portfolio Rights: Approved projects may be showcased in your Taskera portfolio. Confidential projects require Company permission.
14. Deliverables Ownership
14.1 Upon Company acceptance, you transfer all rights to project deliverables to the Company.
14.2 You retain portfolio showcase rights for non-confidential projects only.
COMPANY TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms apply specifically to Companies posting projects on the Platform.
COMPANY-SPECIFIC TERMS
15. Project Posting (Companies Only)
15.1 Project Briefs: You must provide clear, complete project specifications including objectives, deliverables, timelines, and requirements.
15.2 Review Obligations: You agree to review User submissions within 14 days and provide constructive feedback.
15.3 Fair Evaluation: Projects are learning experiences. Provide guidance appropriate for User skill levels.
16. Company Representations
16.1 Payment (if offered): Clearly specify compensation terms before User acceptance.
16.2 Logo Usage: By posting projects, you authorize Taskera to use your logo on certificates and marketing materials.
17. Applicant Management
17.1 Timely Decisions: Review applications within 7 days of receipt if applicable.
17.2 Clear Communication: Provide accepted Users with project onboarding and expectations.
17.3 Feedback: Submit completion feedback to enable certificate issuance.
18. General Provisions
18.1 Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement.
18.2 Severability: Invalid provisions do not affect remaining terms.
18.3 No Waiver: Failure to enforce does not waive rights.
18.4 Assignment: Taskera may assign these Terms; you may not without consent.
By using Taskera, you acknowledge you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.
